TRANSPORTATION SALES TAX
On October 9, 2019 the Kanabec County Board of Commissioners adopted Resolution Number 21-10/9/19 implementing a ½ percent countywide sales and use tax to fund transportation projects. The tax is scheduled to go into effect on January 1, 2020 and remain in place until the projects identified in the Kanabec County Transportation Improvement Projects 2020-2040 have been completed.
