Public Health Nurse Clinics
One of our feature services is the Public Health Nurse Clinics. Our Nurses take time to listen to you, contact us today to set up your appointment! Due to changes that come with aging, many reasons exist that make it difficult to care for one's own feet. This is why we also offer Foot Care at our Nurse Clinics. Nurse Clinics are held every Wednesday and every other Thursday at the Kanabec County Public Services Building by appointment. Clients should call 320-679-6330 for an appointment.
A visit may include:
A short health history.
Blood pressure check.
Discussion of symptoms and health concerns.
Health education; information on diets, exercise, and other aspects of healthy living.
Our nurses offer screening assessments, health education, medication management, INR testing, Foot Care and Smoking Cessation resources. A variety of foot care needs can be attended to at your appointment.
