About the EDA
The Kanabec County Economic Development Authority (EDA) was established in 2015, per Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.090 to 469.108 of the Act and the powers of a housing and redevelopment authority under Sections 469.001 to 469.047. The purpose of the EDA is to encourage and promote commercial and industrial growth and development, housing, and redevelopment for Kanabec County, Minnesota.
The following nine 2021 EDA members were appointed by the Kanabec County Board of Commissioners.

Meeting Time & Location
Kanabec County EDA meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 3:30pm. EDA meetings are held at the Kanabec County Courthouse located at 18 North Vine Street, Mora, MN 55051. EDA meetings are held in basement meeting room #3 and are also available via Webex until further notice. All EDA meetings are open to the public.
