Foster Family Orientation
Kanabec County is in need of more adults willing to become licensed
foster parents for abused and neglected children.
Right now, homes are needed for school-age children. These children
need families that will:
- Provide love and stability in their lives
- Help them heal from past trauma
- Help them reunite with their birth families when possible
- Give them hope for the future
Foster parents can be single, married, or in a committed relationship; experienced parents,
grandparents, or childless; renters or homeowners. Foster parents can live in town or in the
country. Foster parents must be flexible and nurturing.
Kanabec County Family Services is hosting several upcoming Foster Family Orientation sessions.
This will be a time for adults to find out more about becoming a foster family.
Please register by calling the intake line at 320.679.6350.
