Mora Housing & Redevelopment Authority (HRA)
The Mora HRA is a public housing authority established by the City of Mora to address the housing needs of underserved populations in the area. The HRA administers federal, state and locally funded housing assistance programs to qualifying low income households. They partner with other government, non-profit and private agencies to connect families and seniors with local support resources and promote self sufficiency.
The Mora HRA owns and manages income-based apartments where tenants pay rent based on their family income. They also administer housing rental assistance programs, including Section 8 and Bridges rental assistance program which serves person with severe or persistent mental illness.
The HRA owns and operates “Eastwood” – a senior living campus, with independent and assisted living senior apartments as well as memory care. Eastwood Life Enrichment Center (LEC) is a senior community center, located at Eastwood, that is the hub of connectivity between Eastwood residents and the community. The LEC provides free programs, classes, entertainment and opportunities for seniors to connect with friends and family.

Housing Fund of Greater Mora Area
The Housing Fund of Greater Mora Area is a newly created fund meant to support activites that promote, strengthen or integrate housing through development, wellness programs and community-based services in east central Minnesota. To support this fund, please visit www.givemn.org/Mora-Housing.

Lakes and Pines Community Action Council
Lakes and Pines administers Minnesota Housing Finance Agency programs for Kanabec County, including a Housing Rehabilitation Loan program. Funds help homeowners make basic permanent repairs to their home. Financing is in the form of a forgivable loan with a 15-year term at 0% interest.
