Location:  Kanabec County is located in East Central MN, just over an hour drive north of the Twin Cities.  The County seat (Mora) is located at the crossroads of MN State Highways 65 and 23. 

Population:  16,239 (2010 U.S. Census Bureau) 

Public Schools:  Mora Public Schools & Ogilvie Public Schools

Community Center:  Welia Center is a collaboration between Welia Health and Mora Public Schools to serve the needs of students with physical education, after-school sports practices and tournaments. 

Hospital:  Kanabec County is home to Welia Health, located in Mora on Hwy 65.

Industrial Parks:  There are two city-owned industrial parks in Kanabec County (Mora and Braham) with several vacant lots available for sale in both parks. 

Attractions:  Vasaloppet USA (largest cross-country ski race in Minnesota), Nordic Center, Ogilvie Raceway, Ann River Winery, Sapsucker Farms and others
